Members arrived on Wednesday afternoon to set up knowing it would be a busy weekend. By Thursday stalls were beginning to turn up and this was a good time for a few photos and a final meeting before our guests came.

Friday morning finally came around and people started to arrive. JP, Ken and Brumie Jackie were the first through the gate.
Soon more people arrived and the camp site started to look busy with everyone setting their tents up, beer in hand. With the red hot sun beating down on us ice cream sales were soaring as well as lots of liquid refreshment.
Friday evenigs entertainment came from the talented band Empress blasting out some great tunes followed by tunes from the juke box in to the early hours.

Saturday morning arrived and soon the field sprang back in to full swing. Most people deciding to stay on site and enjoy the entertainment on offer. Starting with a bike show and competition  at midday, then from 12:30 a strong man/woman event which was popular with lots joing in as well as watching. At 3pm the amazing Del Scott Miller took over the entertainment with his great acoustic set. A lot of people were chilling in their tents while listening to him just to shelter from the sun.
By 7pm we had the results of the bike show and trophies were given to the winners in the bar along with photograghs  before the start of the evenings entertainment.
Pyro, a 5 piece covers band, rocked the room and in the interval the raffle was drawn. A big thank you to all who donated prizes and a massive thank you to A1 Moto, Trimph York who supplied  the star prize in the form of a trimph watch. The winners of the strong man/woman competition were presented with their trophies and a few words of thanks were said by Rob C before  Pyro came back on for their second set to blow the roof off.

Sunday morning people started leaving with everyone saying what a great time they'd had. No complaints other than weather may have been a few degrees to high.....
Roll on the next one.

Thanks to Pyro for the use of their PA system and playing music for us afterwards, A massive thanks to John and his team at The Brieghton Ferry and thanks to you all for attending and making the weekend such a success.
